I have always believed since I was a child that the ground we tread on, could give us answers to our doubts, but only if, before opening our eyes, we open our hearts and live what is around us. Abstraction is the only cure for superficiality, without it, you will observe everything in a passive way and losing what you really like. Let your judgments unmask stupidity, feel your inner rhythm and create your music, the frenzy does not belong to you, do not be distracted.
Or at least, if you really want to run, firstly I suggest you to learn walking. Valencia, in my sincere opinion, is a great place to search for images and emotions; So all you have to do is buy a nice pair of comfortable shoes, bring your camera, be patient, optimistic and don’t forget to smile. These photos aim to accompany you on a journey, trying to entice you to a sincere and lucid search for what pleases you inwardly, making you develop through photography, a broad vision of what surrounds you. I tried to compose it like a song. To create great harmonies you have to understand how the rhythm works and how to manage it. I don’t know if my rhythm can be defined as a great harmony, but what I need to know is that at the moment it represents me. To create this exhibition I sought it by sinking inside me, until I could feel the harmony with which I took the photos. For this reason I decided to create a musical composition, which I think can accompany well the moments I captured. I hope this will help you to fully immerse yourself inside the photos. I tried through the descriptions to let you enter even deeper into my intimacy, trying to explain the complex but splendid journey from adolescence to maturity, through analogies that connect images and words.
